Pan Seared Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless salmon pieces.
02 - 2 teaspoons of garlic powder.
03 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
04 - 1 teaspoon of table salt.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon of oregano.
06 - 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs mix.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
09 - 3 tablespoons butter (unsalted).
10 - 1/2 spoonful of chopped garlic.
11 - 1/2 to 3/4 cup of shredded parmesan.
12 - 1 cup of rich heavy cream.
13 - 1 tablespoon of parsley (chopped fresh).
14 - 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon.
15 - 2 large spoons of cream cheese (softened).
16 - 2 spoonfuls fresh basil (chopped).
17 - 1/2 cup of chicken stock.

# Instructions:

01 - Spread oil on the salmon pieces and rub with a mix of garlic powder, salt, Italian seasoning, peppers, and oregano.
02 - Heat an oiled pan and cook salmon on high heat for 3 minutes per side until browned. Lower heat to finish.
03 - Melt butter in the pan and toss in garlic. Pour in cream, broth, and lemon juice. Keep on a low simmer for 2 minutes.
04 - Whisk parmesan and cream cheese into the sauce until it becomes smooth and creamy. Adjust with salt and pepper.
05 - Toss in parsley and basil. Slide salmon back into the sauce and warm it up before serving.

01 - Sauté onions in the sauce if you'd like.
02 - Feel free to tweak the parmesan amount to suit your taste.
