Knock You Naked Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup peanut butter.
02 - 14 ounces of caramels.
03 - 5 ounces evaporated milk.
04 - 2 cups of chocolate chips, semi-sweet.
05 - 2 eggs.
06 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
07 - 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar.
08 - 3/4 cup of sugar.
09 - 1 cup of butter, softened.
10 - 1 teaspoon of salt.
11 - 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
12 - 2 and 1/4 cups of plain flour.

# Instructions:

01 - Get the oven hot—375°F. Coat a 9x13 pan lightly with grease.
02 - Combine dry ingredients first. Cream together softened butter, both sugars, and vanilla until smooth. Toss in eggs, mix again, then work in the flour mixture with chips.
03 - Spread a layer of half the dough across the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes.
04 - Heat caramels with evaporated milk in a double boiler until melted, then stir in peanut butter. Pour this mix over the baked layer.
05 - Spoon bits of the remaining dough all over the caramel. Bake again for 15–20 minutes. It should turn nicely golden.

# Notes:

01 - Stick to a double boiler when melting caramels.
02 - This can be prepped in advance.
03 - Wait until it cools completely to slice.
