Three Cheese Twist Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough Base

01 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
02 - 3 eggs
03 - 3/4 cup warm milk
04 - 2 tablespoons honey
05 - 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
06 - 3 1/2 - 4 cups flour

→ Filling

07 - 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
08 - 2 cloves of garlic, minced
09 - 1/3 cup fresh Italian herbs, chopped (basil, sage, thyme, oregano)
10 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded or cubed
11 - 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the warm milk, honey, and yeast. Wait 5 minutes till frothy. Put in the eggs, salt, and 3 1/2 cups of flour. Use the dough hook to mix till smooth, tossing in extra flour if the dough feels sticky.
02 - Cover and let the dough puff up in the bowl at room temperature for about an hour. Look for it to double in size.
03 - In a mixing bowl, toss together the cheese blend, fresh herbs, and garlic till well mixed.
04 - Roll the dough into a rectangle about 12x18 inches. Spread the cheesy filling evenly over it, roll into a log, then slice lengthwise. Twist the halves together and shape into a coil on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
05 - Rest the shaped loaf under a cover for 15 minutes. Pop it in a 350°F oven for 30-35 minutes, baking till it gets a golden look.

01 - Serve warm—great with gooey cheese inside!
02 - If using dried herbs, cut the quantity in half.
