Preheat your oven to 180°C (or 360°F). Mix together the salt, yogurt, and self-rising flour in a bowl until you have a nice dough. If it's sticking to your hands, toss in another spoonful of flour.

Divide the dough into 6 even parts (about 70g each). Roll a bigger ball (45g) for the face from each piece. Make two smaller ear shapes (about 12g apiece), rolling them into stubby sausages.

Butter a big oven-safe pan generously. Put the 6 big balls down on the dish, spaced apart to act as faces. Attach the smaller pieces next to each face for ears.

Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter if you'd like. Let them bake for about 20 minutes. Serve warm, and draw faces with edible markers if that’s your thing!
