Chocolate Cream Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 244g (25 whole) Oreo cookies.
02 - Melted unsalted butter, 60g.
03 - Cornstarch, 1/4 cup.
04 - Cups of sugar, 2/3.
05 - Just a pinch of table salt.
06 - Milk, 2 cups.
07 - Heavy cream, 1 cup.
08 - Four large egg yolks.
09 - Unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons.
10 - Pure vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon.
11 - Dark chocolate (70% cocoa), 150g.
12 - Milk chocolate, 75g.
13 - 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream for topping.
14 - White sugar, 2 tablespoons.
15 - Vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven up to 180°C/350°F. Cut a parchment circle to line the bottom of your dish.
02 - Grind the Oreo cookies into crumbs and mix them well with the melted butter. Push into the baking dish, bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool off.
03 - Combine dry stuff first, then slowly whisk in your milk, cream, and yolks. Stir it continuously on medium heat till it thickens. Finally, mix in butter, chocolate, and vanilla.
04 - Spread the filling inside the crust, cover directly with parchment, and let it cool for 2 hours. Then move it to the fridge for overnight chilling (12+ hours).
05 - Whip the cream with sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Spread it over the pie and garnish with some grated chocolate if you like.

# Notes:

01 - You can prep it up to 3 days in advance.
02 - Add mascarpone to the cream, so it holds better if needed.
03 - Go with baking chocolate instead of regular eating chocolate.
