Chocolate Date Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Basic Items

01 - Fresh, soft Medjool dates
02 - Creamy peanut butter or any nut butter you like
03 - Unsalted roasted nuts (any variety works)
04 - Dark chocolate chips or a good-quality bar
05 - A pinch of flaky sea salt for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Find the natural line on each date. Cut them open lengthwise without slicing all the way through.
02 - Line a plate with parchment paper that’s freezer friendly. Gently pull the dates open, creating a spot to add filling.
03 - Fill each date's middle with nut butter until almost full. Add a few nuts inside and close them slightly. Freeze until set.
04 - While your dates chill, melt the chocolate and stir until silky smooth. Let it cool a bit so it sticks well.
05 - Take your chilled dates out of the freezer. Dip each filled date into the chocolate, using two spoons to get them fully coated.
06 - Sprinkle sea salt on the chocolate-covered dates before it hardens. Put them back in the freezer to set completely.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in a tightly sealed container in the freezer.
02 - Eat straight out of the freezer for the best bite.
