Valentine Heart Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 can (12.4 oz) of ready-to-bake cinnamon roll dough (like Pillsbury) or your own homemade batch
02 - Flour to dust your surface (if working with homemade dough)

→ Optional Homemade Cream Cheese Frosting

03 - 4 oz of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
04 - 2 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter
05 - 1 cup of powdered sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
07 - 1-2 tablespoons of milk to thin out as needed

→ Toppings

08 - Sprinkles in red, pink, and white or sanding sugar
09 - Edible glitter (if you like extra shine)

# Instructions:

01 - Gently unwind each cinnamon roll just a bit and pinch the ends together into a point for the bottom shape. Round the top edges to make it look like a heart.
02 - If it gets too sticky to handle, pop the dough in the fridge to chill for 10-15 minutes.
03 - Bake according to the directions on the package for store-bought dough, or follow your own method if you're using homemade dough.
04 - Beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth. Blend in powdered sugar and vanilla. Add milk a little at a time to get the right texture.
05 - Spread the frosting while the rolls are still warm, then quickly sprinkle your chosen decorations so they stick nicely.

# Notes:

01 - Works great with both store-bought or homemade dough
02 - Add food coloring to make pink or red frosting for a fun twist
03 - Best enjoyed fresh and warm right out of the oven
04 - Tint your icing to fit a Valentine's Day vibe
