# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup uncooked orzo pasta
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Flavors & Spices

04 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
05 - 4 minced garlic cloves
06 - 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

→ Liquids and Cheese

09 - 1 cup heavy cream
10 - 1.5 cups chicken broth
11 - 1/2 cup dry white wine
12 - 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, freshly shredded

→ Chicken & Herbs

13 - 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or rotisserie)
14 - Small handful of fresh basil, torn or diced
15 - Salt and pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter and heat oil in a pot on medium-high. Mix in the orzo, tomato paste, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Stir often and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
02 - Pour the wine into the pot and cook for about a minute. Next, add the cream and broth. Stir well and bring it to a light boil. Keep it uncovered and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently to stop sticking. Adjust heat as needed.
03 - Throw in the chicken, parmesan, and basil. Cover the pot for 3 to 5 minutes off the heat so it can thicken. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

# Notes:

01 - If orzo soaks up sauce too fast, add more broth or cream.
02 - For excess liquid, just leave covered a bit longer.
