Sweet Spicy Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

→ Sauce

02 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
03 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
04 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
05 - 2-3 tablespoons hot Sriracha
06 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch blended with 2 tablespoons water
07 - 1/4 cup honey
08 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil
09 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce

→ Garnish

10 - Chopped green onions
11 - Toasted sesame seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Dry the chicken with paper towels, then lightly season it with some salt and pepper.
02 - Combine honey, soy sauce, hot sauce, vinegar, garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl and mix well.
03 - In a pan with vegetable oil, cook chicken on both sides for 4-5 minutes each, until golden and the inside temperature hits 165°F.
04 - Pour sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Whisk in cornstarch mixture if you want it thicker. Toss chicken in sauce until coated.
05 - Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top.

01 - Use less or more Sriracha depending on how spicy you like it.
