Sugar Cookie Icing (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon clear vanilla flavor
02 - Optional: food coloring
03 - 75-90ml (5–6 tablespoons) milk
04 - 4 cups (480g) confectioner's sugar
05 - 4 teaspoons light syrup (like corn syrup)

# Instructions:

01 - Mix sugar, 5 tablespoons milk, syrup, and vanilla till lump-free.
02 - Slowly add milk until drizzled icing takes 3-4 seconds to sink in. Save a third for outlining later.
03 - Add in a bit more milk to the rest of the icing until it blends back fast when stirred.
04 - If you're adding color, mix it into both kinds of icing.
05 - Go around the edges of your cookie first, then fill the middle. Use a toothpick to even it out.
06 - Keep cookies out to air-dry for 20-24 hours before stacking them up.

01 - Yields about 1 3/4 cups of icing
02 - You can make it early and chill it in the fridge
03 - The syrup makes it shiny
