Mix sugar, 5 tablespoons milk, syrup, and vanilla till lump-free.

Slowly add milk until drizzled icing takes 3-4 seconds to sink in. Save a third for outlining later.

Add in a bit more milk to the rest of the icing until it blends back fast when stirred.

If you're adding color, mix it into both kinds of icing.

Go around the edges of your cookie first, then fill the middle. Use a toothpick to even it out.

Keep cookies out to air-dry for 20-24 hours before stacking them up.
