Strawberry Shortcake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Parts

01 - Butter, unsalted
02 - 36% fat heavy cream
03 - Strawberries, fresh

→ Sweet Additions

04 - Sugar, powdered (for cream)
05 - Regular sugar (for macerating)

→ Biscuit Foundation

06 - Vanilla essence
07 - Salt
08 - Baking powder
09 - All-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - Blend butter into dry ingredients. Stir in cream and vanilla until it holds together.
02 - Roll dough to roughly 1 inch tall, pop out circles, and bake until golden, about 12-15 minutes.
03 - Mix strawberries with sugar to soften them. Beat cream, icing sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
04 - Separate shortcakes, add sweet strawberries and then pile on whipped cream before topping off.

# Notes:

01 - Switch to frozen berries when fresh aren’t on hand.
02 - Honey or coconut sugar is an option instead of regular sugar.
03 - Tastes best if served right after making.
