Steak Mushroom Skillet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Steak Prep

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - A little salt and pepper for flavoring the steak
03 - 1 1/4 pounds of sirloin steak, cut into tasty 1-inch cubes

→ Creamy Sauce

04 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly cracked
05 - A teaspoon of Italian herb blend
06 - 1 cup of rich heavy cream
07 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt
08 - A half-cup of freshly grated Parmesan
09 - 8 ounces of mushrooms, washed and thinly sliced
10 - 1 1/2 teaspoons of freshly chopped garlic

→ Topping

11 - A bit of fresh parsley, minced for a pop of color

# Instructions:

01 - Cut your sirloin into bite-sized cubes, about an inch each. Grab a medium skillet, heat up some olive oil on medium-high, and sprinkle the steak with a little salt and pepper. Sear each piece ’til they’re golden-brown and irresistible.
02 - Once the steak’s done, take it out of the skillet and toss in the garlic and mushrooms. Sauté them in the leftover juices until they’re soft and the smell’s amazing.
03 - Add the heavy cream to the skillet and stir in the grated Parmesan, a dash of Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let everything blend and simmer into a velvety sauce.
04 - Add the steak cubes back into the skillet. Let them soak up the creamy sauce while it thickens just right. Sprinkle with parsley before serving over rice or pasta—your choice!

# Notes:

01 - You can whip this creamy goodness up in just about 30 minutes, making it a great fancy-feeling dinner for busy nights.
02 - For a lighter sauce, swap the heavy cream with half-and-half—it still tastes awesome!
