Snowball Gingerbread Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Softened butter, unsalted (1 cup/226g).
02 - Powdered sugar (57g or 1/2 cup).
03 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
05 - Cinnamon, 1 teaspoon.
06 - Ginger powder, 1 teaspoon.
07 - Nutmeg, ground (1/2 teaspoon).
08 - 1/4 teaspoon allspice, ground.
09 - Cloves, ground (1/4 teaspoon).
10 - Molasses, 1 tablespoon.
11 - All-purpose flour (279g or 2 1/4 cups).
12 - Extra powdered sugar for coating.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and get some parchment paper for the cookie sheets.
02 - Whip the butter until it's airy, around 20 seconds. Blend in the sugar, vanilla, molasses, spices, and salt until smooth.
03 - Add the flour and start mixing. Stay with it—it'll be crumbly at first but will turn into dough eventually.
04 - Portion out the dough into tablespoon-sized bits and place them on your lined cookie sheets.
05 - Bake for 10-12 minutes. The bottoms should just start to lightly brown.
06 - Let them cool a bit. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Once they've cooled all the way, roll them in the sugar again.

# Notes:

01 - Before the dough forms, it'll look crumbly—just keep mixing.
02 - Rolling in sugar twice makes sure they're evenly coated.
