Smoked Burnt Ends Snack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 spoonfuls of mayo
02 - 2 spoonfuls of yellow mustard
03 - 12 quarter-pound all-beef hot dogs

→ Seasonings & Sauce

04 - 1 cup packed brown sugar
05 - Half a cup of barbecue sauce from Jeff's
06 - Half a cup of Jeff's special rub

# Instructions:

01 - Lay the hot dogs in a foil pan. Spread with mustard and mayo first. Sprinkle Jeff's rub on top, flip them, and repeat on the other side.
02 - Get your smoker going with indirect heat at 225°F (107°C). Add water if your smoker has a place for it. Toss in some hickory or your favorite wood.
03 - Smoke the hot dogs for around 60 minutes, or until they look darker.
04 - Take the hot dogs out, chop them into chunks about an inch thick, and put them back in the pan. Coat well with barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and Jeff's rub. Mix it all up.
05 - Turn the smoker's heat up to 375°F (191°C). Pop the pan back in and stir every 10-15 minutes until the pieces are as caramelized as you like.

# Notes:

01 - If you don't have a smoker, you can use an oven or grill.
02 - Works best if you use those quarter-pounder beef hot dogs.
03 - Keep stirring near the end to make sure everything caramelizes evenly.
