Lay the hot dogs in a foil pan. Spread with mustard and mayo first. Sprinkle Jeff's rub on top, flip them, and repeat on the other side.

Get your smoker going with indirect heat at 225°F (107°C). Add water if your smoker has a place for it. Toss in some hickory or your favorite wood.

Smoke the hot dogs for around 60 minutes, or until they look darker.

Take the hot dogs out, chop them into chunks about an inch thick, and put them back in the pan. Coat well with barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and Jeff's rub. Mix it all up.

Turn the smoker's heat up to 375°F (191°C). Pop the pan back in and stir every 10-15 minutes until the pieces are as caramelized as you like.
