Sausage Honey Thyme Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs.
02 - 2 eggs, splitting one for later.
03 - 1 pound pork sausage with sage.
04 - 17.3 oz pack of puff pastry (two sheets).
05 - 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
06 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard.
07 - Fresh thyme, 1 tablespoon of the leaves.
08 - Everything bagel seasoning, 2 tablespoons.
09 - Drizzle with hot honey to serve.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 400°F and cover your baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Stir together sausage, grated cheddar, breadcrumbs, one egg, and thyme.
03 - Beat your second egg with a splash of water (about 1 tablespoon).
04 - Unfold the pastry sheets and slice each into two long pieces.
05 - Spread the sausage filling in the middle of each strip. Add mustard on one edge and brush the other with egg wash.
06 - Fold pastry around the filling, seal edges with egg wash, and lay seam down on the tray.
07 - Make shallow cuts across the tops, then portion into rolls about 1 1/2 inches each.
08 - Coat with egg wash, sprinkle with bagel seasoning, and bake until golden (about 18-20 minutes).

01 - Keep unbaked rolls frozen if you want to bake later.
02 - Skip the cheese if you're avoiding dairy.
03 - Best served warm with a drizzle of hot honey on top.
