Parmesan Chicken Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup parmesan, shredded.
02 - 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into thin slices.
03 - 2 cups marinara or tomato-based sauce.
04 - 8 ounces of your favorite pasta.
05 - A sprinkle of salt and black pepper.
06 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
07 - 1/2 tablespoon mixed Italian herbs.
08 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
09 - 1 pound boneless chicken breasts, diced.
10 - Optional: fresh basil leaves, red pepper flakes, or extra parmesan on top.

# Instructions:

01 - Follow package directions to make pasta firm but not mushy. Set aside 2 spoonfuls of the cooking water.
02 - Sauté diced chicken and garlic in a hot pan for 5 minutes, stirring now and then. Sprinkle in the herbs, then remove any juices left in the pan.
03 - Stir the sauce with the parmesan into the chicken mixture until it’s all blended together.
04 - Toss in your cooked pasta and reserved water. Layer mozzarella on top, cover, and let it melt.
05 - Add anything extra you like before digging in—like basil, chili flakes, or extra cheese.

# Notes:

01 - Both shredded mozzarella or slices work fine.
