Candy Cane Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 25 chocolate sandwich cookies, like Oreos.
02 - 5 tbsp melted unsalted butter.
03 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese.
04 - 3/4 cup powdered sugar.
05 - Red gel food dye.
06 - 1 tsp peppermint flavoring.
07 - 2 containers of thawed Cool Whip.
08 - 3/4 cup crushed peppermint candies.

# Instructions:

01 - Grind cookies into fine crumbs with a processor or by crushing with a pin. Stir with melted butter, press into a 9-inch pie dish, and pop it into the fridge to set.
02 - Whisk cream cheese with powdered sugar until there are no more lumps. Add drops of red dye until the color looks right.
03 - Gently stir in one tub of Cool Whip and 1/2 cup of crushed peppermint candies.
04 - Spoon the creamy filling over the crust. Spread with the last tub of Cool Whip and sprinkle the rest of the candies on top.
05 - Stick the pie in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour before digging in.

01 - You don't need an oven for this.
02 - Chilling is a must before eating.
