Lemon Garlic Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Protein

01 - 4 salmon fillets, center-cut preferred, fresh if possible

→ Sauce Base

02 - 1 cup heavy cream, let it reach room temp before using
03 - 1/3 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed (you'll need about 2 big lemons)
04 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped finely
05 - 1/4 cup butter, unsalted

→ Seasonings & Garnish

06 - Sea salt and black pepper, freshly ground, adjust to taste
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
08 - Fresh parsley, chopped up, about 2 tablespoons
09 - Lemon slices, fresh, to decorate your dish

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C) to preheat. Give your baking dish a quick coating with olive oil so the fish doesn't stick.
02 - Put your fillets of salmon into the oiled dish. Give them a nice sprinkle of salt and pepper. This will bring out the natural taste of the salmon.
03 - Add olive oil to a pan and heat it on medium. Toss in the minced garlic and let it sizzle until it's fragrant, about a minute or so.
04 - Stir in your butter, lemon juice, and cream. Let this slowly bubble on low heat, stirring now and then, until it thickens into a smooth sauce.
05 - Drizzle the creamy sauce all over the salmon in the dish. Make sure every piece gets covered with the sauce you made.
06 - Pop the dish in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. The fish will be done when it's tender, moist, and flakes with a fork.
07 - Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the top and place some lemon slices neatly around. Serve while the sauce is still creamy and warm.

# Notes:

01 - Goes great with roasted veggies or some steamed asparagus.
02 - Let your salmon sit at room temperature before cooking for better results.
