Kafta Kebabs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Seasonings

01 - Black pepper (¼ teaspoon)
02 - Cayenne (⅛ teaspoon, or adjust to preference)
03 - Salt (1 teaspoon)
04 - Seven spice blend (¼ teaspoon)

→ Meat & Produce

05 - Fresh parsley (1 cup, cleaned and dried)
06 - Yellow onion (1 medium, cut in quarters)
07 - Lean ground beef (600 grams)

# Instructions:

01 - Place on a lightly greased medium-high grill and cook about 4 minutes each side or until fully done.
02 - Take the meat mixture and shape it around the skewers, making layers about an inch or so thick.
03 - In a big bowl, mix the beef, the onion-parsley blend, and all the spices thoroughly with your hands.
04 - Chop the parsley and onion finely in a food processor by pulsing them together.

# Notes:

01 - Soaking skewers in water for at least 30 minutes helps prevent burning.
02 - Seven spice can be replaced with allspice if needed.
03 - Turn the mixture into burger patties for a different option.
04 - If you prefer baking, use a 375°F oven for 15-20 minutes.
05 - Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
