Italian Sub Squares (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Two cans of crescent dough sheets

→ Meats & Cheese

02 - Sliced provolone cheese (8 ounces)
03 - Quarter pound of deli pepperoni (sliced)
04 - Quarter pound of deli-sliced ham
05 - Quarter pound of Genoa salami (sliced)

→ Vegetables

06 - Drained sliced roasted red peppers (12-ounce can)
07 - Half a cup of sliced, drained pepperoncini

→ Topping

08 - One large egg
09 - A tablespoon of pre-made pesto
10 - One tablespoon of shredded parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13 dish with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - Lay one crescent sheet in the dish, letting it go an inch up the sides.
03 - Start with half the provolone, then add the salami, ham, pepperoni, roasted peppers, pepperoncini, and finish with the rest of the provolone.
04 - Place the second crescent sheet on top and pinch the edges to close it up.
05 - Stir together the egg, pesto, and parmesan in a small bowl, then brush that mix all over the top.
06 - Cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray, bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake another 15-20 minutes until nice and golden.
07 - Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
