Creamy Parmesan Sausage Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base & Proteins

01 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
02 - 1 pound of boneless Italian sausage
03 - 2 minced garlic cloves
04 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil

→ Dairy & Liquids

05 - 2 quarts of chicken broth
06 - 1/2 cup of cream (heavy)
07 - One 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes

→ Cheese & Pasta

08 - 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
09 - 1 cup of ditalini pasta pieces

→ Spices

10 - Salt and pepper—adjust to taste
11 - Dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon
12 - Fresh parsley for topping
13 - Dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oil, break sausage apart while browning. Set it aside when done.
02 - In the pan used earlier, cook garlic and onion until soft and aromatic.
03 - Mix tomatoes, broth, and seasonings into the pot. Add sausage back, and let it gently bubble.
04 - Pour in pasta and let it simmer until tender, following the package directions.
05 - Blend in cream and cheese until smooth. Check seasoning, then sprinkle parsley over top before serving.
