Honey Lemon Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons honey.
02 - 1 1/4 tablespoons rice vinegar.
03 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
04 - A tablespoon of soy sauce (low-sodium works best).
05 - One pound of chicken (breasts or thighs).
06 - 1/2 cup of cornstarch.
07 - 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
08 - 1 lemon, zest and juice ready to use.
09 - A small piece of ginger, grated (around 1 tablespoon).
10 - Scallions and sesame for topping.
11 - 1 egg, beaten.
12 - A little chili flakes (around 1/4 teaspoon).
13 - Another tablespoon of soy sauce (low-sodium).

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the zest, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, chili flakes, and vinegar in a bowl.
02 - Combine the soy sauce and egg. Toss the chicken bits in the mix. Then coat them with cornstarch.
03 - In small batches, cook the chicken until it's crispy and golden. Set aside once done.
04 - Cook the garlic and ginger briefly. Add the prepared sauce mix and the chicken, stirring until it's thick and covers everything.
05 - Add scallions and sesame seeds on top right before serving.

01 - Don’t crowd the chicken while frying.
02 - You can prep the sauce earlier to save time.
