In a big bowl, stir together the sugar, yeast, and warm milk. Leave it for 5-10 mins to get bubbly. Add eggs, vanilla, salt, and melted butter. Gradually mix in the flour until you get soft dough.

On a flour-dusted counter, knead dough for about 8-10 minutes till stretchy and smooth. Put it in an oiled bowl, cover up, and let it double in size (1-2 hours).

Roll dough into a thin rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Spread with butter, sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar. Roll it up tight, then cut into 12 even slices.

Arrange rolls in a greased dish, leaving space between each. Cover them up and rise for another 30-45 mins. Pop in the oven at 350°F and cook 20-25 mins till golden. Brush butter as soon as they come out.
