Garlic Herb Bread Oil (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Golden Garlic Base

01 - 3 tablespoons finely minced fresh garlic cloves
02 - 2 tablespoons high-quality olive oil

→ Fresh Herb Mix

03 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fragrant rosemary
04 - 2 tablespoons freshly chopped basil leaves
05 - 3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
06 - ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil—get a good one if you can

→ Seasonings

07 - 1 teaspoon blended Italian herbs
08 - ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
09 - ½ teaspoon chili flakes (skip if you’re not into spicy stuff)
10 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional but adds extra flavor)
11 - ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a small pan over medium. Stir in the garlic once it warms up. Cook until the garlic turns golden at the edges—watch carefully, so it doesn’t burn! Remove it from the heat immediately when done.
02 - In a flat bowl or shallow dish, blend the chopped basil, rosemary, Parmesan, salt, and other herbs. Add chili flakes if you'd like a little heat.
03 - Pour the garlic oil into the herb mixture and stir well. Drizzle balsamic vinegar if you want, and give it another quick mix.
04 - Pair with your favorite crusty bread, warm pita, or even pizza crusts. Let everything sit for a bit so the flavors combine before you dig in.

# Notes:

01 - The oil tastes even better if you let the flavors blend for a while.
02 - Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to a week. Just let it warm to room temp before serving again!
