Cheesy Garlic Knots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
02 - 1 pound of pizza dough (homemade works too)

→ Garlic Butter

03 - 1 teaspoon of salt
04 - 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
05 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 1/2 cup butter, melted and unsalted

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on and set it to 400°F (200°C). Use parchment to line your baking tray.
02 - Cut the dough into 12 pieces. Press each one out into a rectangle shape.
03 - Take some shredded mozzarella and place it in the middle of each rectangle. Fold the dough over the cheese, then pinch the edges together to close it up into a knot shape.
04 - Combine melted butter, salt, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a small bowl.
05 - Put the knots onto the tray. Generously coat each knot with the garlic butter mixture using a brush. Cook them in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the knots are golden and the cheese is nice and gooey.
06 - Pull them out of the oven and, if you'd like, brush on more garlic butter. Enjoy them warm with some marinara sauce for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Seal the edges tightly to keep the cheese from spilling out.
02 - For a shinier finish, use egg wash on the knots before baking.
03 - Wait a couple of minutes after baking so the cheese sets up a bit.
