French Toast Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 croissants, sliced in half
02 - 5 eggs (large)
03 - 1 cup of half-and-half
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
05 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
06 - Zest from one orange
07 - 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
08 - 1/4 teaspoon of salt (kosher)
09 - 1 tablespoon of optional Grand Marnier
10 - Powdered sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
11 - Fresh berries to serve
12 - Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
13 - Extra maple syrup for drizzling

# Instructions:

01 - Lightly coat a 13x9 pan with grease
02 - In a big bowl, whisk eggs, cream, vanilla, zest, cinnamon, salt, syrup, and Grand Marnier (if using)
03 - Place croissant pieces in custard, let them soak completely, and arrange them in the greased pan
04 - Cover the dish and store in the fridge for up to a full day
05 - Let it sit out for 30 minutes, then bake at 375°F for about 25–30 minutes until golden brown
