French Toast Air Fryer (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 6 slices of slightly dried bread, diced into small cubes

→ Custard Mixture

02 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder for a warm flavor
03 - 1/4 teaspoon fine kosher salt
04 - 1/4 cup of brown sugar for a rich sweetness
05 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla to add aroma
06 - 3 large eggs left at room temperature
07 - 1/4 cup of milk

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a large bowl and combine milk, vanilla, cinnamon, eggs, salt, and brown sugar. Whisk them together until smooth and everything's evenly mixed.
02 - Take your bread cubes and fold them gently into the custard. Make sure they're well-covered and no dry spots are left.
03 - Lightly spray your air fryer basket with some non-stick spray. Spread the coated bread out evenly, keeping the pieces in a single layer without stacking.
04 - Set your air fryer to 350°F and cook for 8-10 minutes. Shake the basket midway for even crispness. You'll know it's done when the bread is golden and crunchy outside but soft inside.
05 - Enjoy your warm toast bites fresh out of the fryer! Add powdered sugar, syrup, or berries for those extra finishing touches.

# Notes:

01 - Using older, staler bread works better because it soaks up the custard without falling apart.
02 - Cook in smaller batches if needed so every piece can crisp up nicely without overcrowding.
