04 - ⅓ cup sweet chili sauce (Asian-style)
05 - 1 teaspoon Sriracha
06 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce (Tamari works too)
07 - 2 tablespoons water
08 - 3 large garlic cloves, minced

→ Shrimp

09 - 1 pound large shrimp (tails on, deveined, and peeled)
10 - 2 tablespoons flour
11 - Salt and pepper, as needed
12 - 1 egg
13 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
14 - Vegetable oil for frying

→ Garnish

15 - Fresh chives, chopped
16 - Sesame seeds, toasted

# Instructions:

01 - Toss chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, Sriracha, lemon juice, zest, water, and garlic into a bowl. Stir till it's all blended together.
02 - Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Combine cornstarch and flour in a shallow dish. Toss the shrimp so they're evenly coated.
03 - Heat a skillet with enough oil to just cover the bottom over medium-high heat. Beat the egg in another bowl.
04 - Dip each shrimp into the egg, then fry in hot oil. Cook a couple minutes per side until golden.
05 - Lay cooked shrimp on paper towels to soak up excess oil.
06 - Wipe the skillet clean and put it back over the heat. Pour in the sauce, cook until bubbly, then toss shrimp to coat.
07 - Top with sesame seeds and chives if you'd like. Best served immediately. Pair with rice if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Great as an appetizer or main dish
02 - Pairs wonderfully with rice or sautéed veggies
03 - Try it on cilantro-lime rice too
