Extra Easy Lasagna (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
04 - 1 pound ground beef
05 - 2 (6-ounce) cans of tomato paste
06 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil
07 - 2 teaspoons of mixed Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
09 - 1 (8-ounce) pack of no-cook lasagna sheets
10 - 6 slices of fresh mozzarella
11 - Chopped parsley to sprinkle on top
12 - 1 teaspoon salt
13 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
14 - 2 (14-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
15 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - In a big skillet, fry up the beef in oil till browned. Drain grease, stir in tomatoes, paste, and spices. Let it cook gently for 5 minutes.
02 - In a greased dish, layer noodles, the meat sauce, and cheeses. Keep adding layers. Top everything with fresh mozzarella slices.
03 - Pop foil over the dish and bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes. Take the foil off and bake another 10 minutes.
04 - Let it sit for 10 minutes before digging in. Add parsley on top if you like.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap ricotta for cottage cheese.
02 - No need to pre-cook the lasagna noodles.
03 - Let it cool a bit before slicing.
