Chocolate Nests Easter (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 100g golden syrup
02 - 200g dark chocolate, broken into smaller chunks
03 - 6-8 full Shredded Wheat biscuits, crumbled
04 - 200g milk chocolate, chopped finely
05 - 100g unsalted butter

→ Topping

06 - 100-200g of mini Easter goodies

# Instructions:

01 - Smash the Shredded Wheat into small crumbs in a large bowl. Put it aside for now.
02 - Slowly warm up the butter and golden syrup in a pan. Stir every so often until the butter’s fully gone. Pull it off the heat, then mix in the dark and milk chocolate so they melt all the way through.
03 - Pour the melted butter-and-chocolate mix onto the cereal crumbs. Stir it together until everything’s coated perfectly.
04 - Grab an ice cream scoop or two spoons and pile the mix into nest shapes on a parchment-covered tray. Pop a few Easter candies on top of each one.
05 - Stick the tray in the fridge until each nest turns solid and holds its shape.

# Notes:

01 - You’re good to use only dark chocolate (350g) or all milk chocolate (500g).
02 - Switch out the Shredded Wheat for about 80-100g of another cereal if you like.
03 - If kept well, these stay edible for more than a week.
04 - White chocolate doesn’t work smoothly with the butter and syrup mixture.
