Cook cherries gently over low heat for 3-5 minutes in 2 tablespoons of water until they soften, then press lightly.

Soak the Earl Grey in hot water for a few minutes, then toss out the tea bag or strain it if you used loose leaves.

Slowly warm up the milk along with the cooked cherries and a cinnamon stick if you're using one. Stir now and then.

Add however much vanilla syrup you like into the milk and cherry mixture, stirring thoroughly.

Pour your brewed tea into a mug, then add the strained cherry-milk mixture. Press the cherries to squeeze out extra juice. Stir.

Enjoy it right away while it's hot, or pour it over ice if you want it chilled. Add a cherry or cinnamon on top to make it pretty!
