Easy Chocolate Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk.
02 - 1 3/4 cups of coconut flakes, finely shredded.
03 - 1 3/4 cups of icing sugar.
04 - 2 tablespoons of vegetable shortening.
05 - 2 cups of dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together shredded coconut, icing sugar, and condensed milk in a big mixing bowl until it comes together.
02 - Make small 1-inch balls from the mix and pop them onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Stick them in the fridge so they firm up.
03 - Warm up chocolate chips with shortening in the microwave. Stir until smooth and runny.
04 - Coat the cold coconut balls in the melted chocolate, letting any drips fall off. Place them back on wax paper so they set.
05 - Store these treats in the fridge to keep them fresh.
