Cheesy Potato Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Essential Components

01 - ½ cup of sour cream
02 - 3 russet potatoes, boiled and diced
03 - ¼ cup of chopped green onions
04 - 1 block of cheddar cheese, sliced into thin pieces
05 - ¼ cup of crumbled bacon

→ Outer Layer

06 - 100g of panko crumbs
07 - 2/3 cup of cornflour
08 - Pepper, about ½ teaspoon
09 - Flour for dusting
10 - Salt, roughly 1 teaspoon
11 - Egg to help coat

→ Oil for Cooking

12 - 1 liter of peanut, canola, or vegetable oil

# Instructions:

01 - Combine potatoes, bacon, chopped onions, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Stir until mostly smooth.
02 - Mold the potato mix around cheese slices. Make sure they're fully covered.
03 - Coat with flour first, dip in egg, then roll in the cornstarch and panko breadcrumb mix.
04 - Cook by frying at 350°F for about 3 mins until crispy brown, or bake at 400°F for 15 mins.
