Beat the butter and sugar together until soft and airy for around 1-2 minutes. Slowly add in the flour and stir on low until the mixture comes together as dough.

Shape the dough into a ball, cover it with plastic wrap, and pop it in the fridge for at least an hour.

Roll out the dough to about 1/4-1/2 inch thickness, then use cookie cutters to make shapes. Let them chill while you heat up the oven.

In a 325°F oven, bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges just turn golden. Let them cool completely before enjoying.
