White Chocolate Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Melted butter (1 cup/225g, let it cool)
02 - Brown sugar (1¾ cups/340g, light or demerara)
03 - 2 whole eggs
04 - All-purpose/plain flour (2 cups/285g)

→ Mix-ins

05 - White chocolate chips (½ cup/100g)

# Instructions:

01 - Line a 9-inch square pan with baking paper and set oven to 356°F (180°C)
02 - Stir together eggs and sugar in a medium mixing bowl until smooth
03 - While mixing, slowly pour in the melted butter once it’s cooled
04 - Mix in the flour till it’s fully blended—it'll feel thick
05 - Add white chocolate chips and make sure they’re spread out evenly
06 - Transfer batter to the prepared pan, smooth the surface, sprinkle sea salt if you want, and bake 25 minutes till the edges firm up and the top turns golden
07 - Cool completely in the baking tin, lift out gently, then cut into 9 pieces

# Notes:

01 - If you use an 8-inch pan, you'll get thicker squares that need more time to bake
02 - Overmixing the flour can make the texture too dense
03 - Don’t worry if the batter's thick—that’s normal for chewy blondies
04 - Completely cool in the pan before slicing for cleaner cuts
