04 - Two garlic cloves, minced

→ Sauce & Seasonings

05 - Can of tomato sauce (15 ounces)
06 - Drained can of diced tomatoes (15 ounces)
07 - A tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
08 - Two teaspoons of smoked paprika
09 - Add red pepper flakes to your taste
10 - Season with salt and pepper to taste

→ Creamy & Cheese Elements

11 - Eight ounces of sour cream
12 - Cottage cheese, small curd (8 ounces)
13 - Half a cup of shredded Parmesan cheese
14 - Two cups of shredded cheddar cheese
15 - Fresh parsley for sprinkling on top

# Instructions:

01 - Bring salted water to a boil, cook noodles until firm to the bite, rinse them in cold water, and coat with oil to keep from sticking.
02 - Break up the ground beef while cooking in a skillet until browned, then drain off the extra grease.
03 - Add chopped onion and garlic to the pan with beef. Cook, stirring, for about three minutes until they smell amazing.
04 - Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper, and let simmer for around five minutes until it thickens.
05 - Toss cooked noodles with sour cream, cottage cheese, and Parmesan cheese in a large mixing bowl.
06 - Start layering in a 9x13 dish: half of the creamy noodle mix, half the cooked beef, and half the shredded cheddar. Do another layer and finish with a cheddar top.
07 - Put the dish in the oven at 350°F and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melty and bubbling.
08 - Scatter parsley on top before serving hot, if you like.

# Notes:

01 - Spice it up with a dash of cayenne or add jalapeños for heat.
02 - Sprinkle bacon bits over it for an extra savory kick.
03 - Great option for cooking ahead when family's coming over.
04 - Leftovers heat up wonderfully without losing flavor.
