Sweet Bacon Little Smokies (Print Version)

01 - 1 lb package of thin-cut bacon, cut into thirds
02 - 16 oz little smokies sausages
03 - 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed tightly
04 - Freshly ground black pepper, add as much as you like

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Use foil to line a sheet pan or baking dish, or spray with some oil to keep from sticking.
02 - Dry off each sausage, take a slice of bacon, and roll it around the sausage. Use a toothpick to keep it together.
03 - Fill a big zip bag with brown sugar. Toss a handful of bacon-wrapped sausages in at a time, shake them up to coat, and then place them on the baking pan you set up.
04 - Sprinkle some fresh black pepper on top of the bacon-wrapped sausages to boost flavor.
05 - Pop it in the oven for 30-35 minutes, letting the bacon turn golden brown. If you prefer it crispier, broil it for a few extra minutes.
