Bacon Chicken Ranch Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
02 - 10 oz penne, uncooked
03 - 8 slices of bacon, chopped up

→ Sauce

04 - 1 cup sour cream
05 - 2 cups shredded cheddar
06 - 4 oz cream cheese
07 - 2 cups broth (chicken)
08 - 1 dry ranch dressing packet

→ Aromatics & Seasonings

09 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 1/2 onion (yellow), finely chopped
11 - 3 minced garlic cloves
12 - Chopped green onions for topping
13 - 2 teaspoons dried parsley
14 - 1 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Boil penne till it's just firm to the bite, strain it out, and cool under water.
02 - Fry bacon pieces till crispy, take them out, leaving a tablespoon of grease behind.
03 - Brown chicken cubes in bacon drippings with the salt and pepper, then toss in onion till soft and garlic for a quick 60 seconds.
04 - Mix broth, sour cream, cream cheese, ranch packet, bacon, and other seasonings. Heat till bubbly, and turn it down.
05 - Mix cheddar and pasta into the sauce, let it simmer a few minutes. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.

02 - Add more broth if you need it creamier.
